What This Is
Afrodeities Press is a canon platform and strategic IP venture built to create, codify, and steward civilisational frameworks. These are intellectual reference architectures that institutions use to build products, curricula, narratives, policies, and systems.
Depth, clarity, and structural coherence are what we optimise for.
Books are one possible format. The canon is the product.
The Problem We Address
Modern knowledge production is fragmented, extractive, and shallow. Ideas are flattened into content, stripped of lineage, divorced from systems, endlessly remixed without accountability. Entire civilisations are misrepresented, partialised, aestheticised, erased, or trivialised.
Institutions, museums, schools, media companies, technology firms, and funders are desperate for coherent frameworks they can trust, cite, teach, and build upon. The gap between the demand for such frameworks and their existence is where Afrodeities Press operates.
Afrodeities Press exists to build them.
What We Produce
We produce canon. Specifically:
